An Elemental Reconnection with Nature

What elements do I look for in regenerating the landscape?

Sun- Presence and distribution of sunlight. Rainwater- slow it down, sink it in, soak it up. Soil- reduce erosion and foster microbial and fungal balance for optimal plant health. Communities- support biodiverse faunal and floral endemic communities.

Where is the beginning of one’s pursuit of their passion? It begins with a spark, an idea, like a flame in the night, and I, a moth, flew right in…

– My most meaningful experiences were inwardly and outwardly linked by the waterways and wildlife of the places I lived. My destiny inextricable from the landscape itself. Would that be a good story to tell?

With the help of multiple congregations, non-profit organizations, communities, and individuals across the country, I was directly empowered to share the joys of pursuing working with a direct connection to nature.

This doesn’t mean everyday is a picnic, I have fears about the reality vs. theory of human actions and imposter syndrome along with most people.

The key is in the simple benefit of facing things I don’t know with a little bit of courage, mustered up from that old feeling that I must be on the right path if it’s already happening.
